Retail Logistics & Sales Support Clerk

  • Location: 34-36 St. James Street, San Fernando

  • 5 days per week, 8:30am to 4:00pm. No Sundays or Public Holidays

  • No academic qualifications required

  • Active, hands-on position requiring regular physical effort, including occasional lifting of moderately heavy cartons

Job Purpose and meaning

  • ​To make customer's lives easier and more enjoyable by assisting our experienced sales clerks in providing practical, affordable and reliable solutions in Musical Instruments, Professional Audio, Car Audio and Consumer Electronics.

Role specifics

  • Welcome walk-in customers, answer basic product availability questions (e.g., identifying general inventory categories like guitar lines), and seamlessly transition customers to a dedicated sales clerk.

  • Lift, move, and transport merchandise between the stockroom and showroom floor using safe handling practices. This activity includes lifting moderately heavy cartons independently, operating trolley carts, and executing team-lifts as appropriate for heavier cartons.

  • Assist sales clerks with unboxing, positioning, testing, and packaging audio equipment and musical instruments
  • Strictly adhere to internal inventory control protocols, direct supervision, and workplace safety procedures at all times.
  • Role specifics subject with time to meet evolving industry needs
