The CS-6T is a 6.5” Ceiling Speaker featuring premium components for extremely accurate and pleasing sound quality.

It can be used in commercial P.A. systems or luxury home audio.

Traditional Audio systems / Low-Voltage (8Ω) Systems:
The built-in 70V/100V transformer can by bypassed by disconnecting it from the Push Terminals.
The speaker load bypassing transformer is 8Ω, suitable for use with traditional audio systems.

Constant-Voltage (70V or 100V) Systems:

The CS-6T is equipped with a high-definition (HD) line transformer for use with 70V or 100V Commercial Public Address (P.A.) systems.
Constant-Voltage (70V or 100V) systems allow for:
• Large numbers of loudspeakers to be played from one amplifier
• Simple, parallel wiring of all Loudspeakers
• Independent volume adjustment of each Loudspeaker
• Easy Zoning and additional volume-control stations
• More reliable operation, as the Loudspeaker is not directly coupled to the amplifier

Power Taps:
Power taps are used to set the volume level of individual loudspeakers in a 70V/100V system.
• 20W: medium-loud volume, suitable for moderate outdoor areas, churches, etc
• 10W: medium volume for schools, malls, offices, retail stores, paging, etc
• 5W: Background music for restaurants, homes, hospitality, etc

A power tap will have both a 100V and a 70V rating.

The 100V rating is twice the 70V rating.

Amplifier Requirement (70V or 100V):

The total system load is the sum of all the power taps. For example, if connecting eight (8) ceiling speakers, each tapped at 5W, the total load will be 5W+5W+5W+5W+5W+5W+5W+5W = 40W.
Always use an amplifier rated higher than the calculated total load to get the best sound quality and experience.

Installation overview:
1. Cut a round hole of appropriate size (around 210mm) in the false ceiling
2. Connect speaker wires to appropriate 70V or 100V tap or to the push terminals for 8-ohm
3. Remove the front metal grill of loudspeaker and adjust the rear-facing plastic clips inwards
4. Insert the speaker into the false ceiling
5. Tighten the front-facing screws connected to each plastic clip until each clip rotates outwards and grips the false ceiling securely.
6. Replace the front metal grill onto the ceiling speaker
Please follow all relevant codes and procedures when installing ceiling speakers.
IMPORTANT: It is the installers responsibility to ensure proper and safe mounting.
